Community Thanksgiving Service
We’ve been asked to host our area’s Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 23 in our 6 p.m. worship service, followed by a fellowship with light refreshments in our Family Life Center. Our offering will go to our area food pantry. Bring canned goods and cereal to the truck under our covered drop off.
Amazing Grace: November 30, 6 p.m.
On Sunday evening, November 30, we’re hosting the two-hour feature film, Amazing Grace, in our worship service. This is the true story of William Wilberforce, a zealous believer in God, human rights activist, and a member of British Parliament who battled discouragement and illness to end slavery, inspired by John Newton, author of Amazing Grace. Please join us!
Drive Away Hunger: Sunday, November 23
I need your help on Thanksgiving Sunday, November 23, to Drive Away Hunger by filling the truck under our covered drop off with canned goods and cereal for our Area Food Pantry. Les Carter will provide a truck in the outer bay of our covered drop off for your bags, both morning and evening on the 23rd. That evening we’re hosting the Area Thanksgiving Service, and our offering will go to support the Food Pantry, too. Let’s all work together to fill the truck and to Drive Away Hunger.
