Reasons Athens Christian Church Is Worth Investigating 

1. You may read about it in the Bible (Rm. 16:16).
2.  It has no creed but Christ, binds no name on its members but Christ (Acts11:26; I Peter 4:16).
3.  It speaks where the Bible speaks, is silent where the Bible is silent (1Peter 4:11)
4.  It exalts Christ as the only head of the Church (Colossians 1:18).
5.  The Church of Christ pleads for the unity of all believers in Christ (John 17:20, 21; Eph. 4:4-6).
6.  It is not a denomination, nor a group of denominations.
7.  Its founder is Christ Himself (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 2:20).
8.  Its aim ... to save souls by preaching the gos­pel, teaching godly living, and helping all those in need (I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:37-42).
9.  Its future . . . eternal glory with Christ (I Thessalonians4:17).

READ one chapter of the New Testament each weekday.

RECORD your discoveries by writing them in a notebook.

REFLECT on what you read/wrote with a partner or group.

RECEIVE a weekly sermon from a text you read.
